The sheep have been lambing for a week or two now, so here are some photos of the wee pets.
Big Brother likes to watch them at their mealtime. It makes him feel like they're family, sitting around the kitchen table feeding trough.
Aren't these twins adorable!
They weren't scared of me at all, which means one of two things:
they are bold little babies, or,
I am becoming more croftified, and therefore more acceptable to these sheep.
I think we'll stick with them being bold.
((Gorgeous)) Shhhh. I'm saying it quietly, because Jackson was a bit upset when he heard me using adjectives like 'gorgeous', 'adorable', and 'cute', and realised I wasn't talking about him. Oh, us Mums have to be so careful, don't we?
Perfect late afteroon: they have sunshine; and they have my company. What more could they ask for?
Oh!!! Twins!!!! What gorgeous pictures!
ReplyDeleteI love lambs. We will be getting sheep, but we haven't decided when yet. Gee- we'll have something to do around here!
ReplyDeleteWhat a magnificent place to live. I love the last picture with the waves crashing in the background. The lambs are precious. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSuch cute sheep! What breed are they? We are very novice at the sheep thing around here...we have suffolk/hamp cross....and the children who raise them, sell them at auction in August...and we've only done this for two years. We have 3 babies at present...and they are so adorable! But I don't think Jackson has anything to worry about! He can certainly keep up w/ that cute factor!
ReplyDeleteI love lambs and those are just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhat precious, sweet lambs!! (Yes, words I could use to describe my daughters, on occasion!)
ReplyDeleteThat last picture is absolutely gorgeous!
Love the pictures!!! And yes, I do believe you would have a jealous puppy.
ReplyDelete(Kathie, our black lab, thinks Scottish labs have it a bit better than she does!)
beautiful lambs! (and I'm late in saying I love little Jackson too!!!)
ReplyDeleteSuch beauty at your place! The lambs are precious and you too some great pics.
ReplyDeleteOh my! They are "bonny wee lambs!" For sure, Jackson knows we are not talking about him. :-)
ReplyDeleteThey're beautiful.
Oh beautiful lambs!! What a happy season! The pictures are breathtaking as well as the view! So lovely Anne :)
ReplyDeleteLol, Mum, it's been a while since you've been that far in a croft! Maybe you are becoming croftified.
ReplyDeleteBTW, the sheep are the blackface breed
Oh my, what gorgeous surroundings!
ReplyDeleteAs a member of the Jackson fan club, "Where is his daily photo?"
ReplyDeleteUpstaged by a sheep!.....Grrrrr
Cutie pie lambs! Love your pics. I think the lambs were so comfortable because they sensed what a good Mum you are. "If she can hug on that pup, surely she'll love on us too!"
ReplyDeleteOh they are beautiful....what a lovely homestead you have you are so blessed thank you for sharing ~Love Heather
