Having being given a glorious night sky last night, we were blessed with a stunning sunrise this morning.
I wasn't out as early as I could have been, but here are some photos I took.
Just above the outline of the houses, you may be able to make out the mainland hills. These hills are on the west coast of Scotland, north of Kinlochbervie. As the crow flies, these hills are probably between thirty and forty miles from us.
Beautiful! Don't you just love waking up with the dawn? I love hearing the birds waking too.

I don't think there is anything on earth as wonderful as a sunrise (except maybe a brand new baby).
