In April, we had a new addition to our family
Our very cute, Jackson, became part of our family.
Sometimes, I wish he was still that size...
We also had a Homeschoolers' get-together to celebrate the Queen's birthday, but the day was so lovely, we spent most of our afternoon at the beach.
Here, we have to take advantage of the weather when we can.
During April we had the very joyful event of our Royal marriage, our day tinged with some sadness, of which you can read here.
In May, we looked at Harris Tweed in a number of posts, and in this one, we met a friend who weaves on a traditional loom.
And, began our look at the fruit and veg for this year's plot.
Finally, for this post, we have a little skim through June.
I answered some of your questions in this post
and we had a look at Big Brother shearing some sheep....
...with a little help from a (little) friend :)
Ah, yes...looks like Lewis is sunny all the time!!! When it is it is magnificent. The wind is magnificent in a different way. Very nice post.
ReplyDeleteI think that a "year in review" is such a cool posting series idea. Neat! It might even inspire me to look back at all of my drivel from the last year to see if there are any themes. :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. Merry Christmas to you and yours, dear Anne!
I remember all of those! It is good to look back, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Love your year in review. the photo's are inspirational :)
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying your review. Its nice to look through the year and remember isn't it? Jackson is as cute as ever. Love all the pictures.
ReplyDeleteWe got your Christmas card, and what a delight it was to get it... it was funny because I had just written one for you... and I am sure it will probably get there after Christmas, but, you can know it is on its way. Anyhow, its always so nice to connect on real paper isn't it? Its not as fast and convenient of course, but has a little something special that you just can't get from internet. So thanks for the card. Incase I don't get a chance to get back on before Christmas, Merry Christmas to you and your family. You are all treasures... From all of the Phelps family.
Much Love Always,
Pam
What a year. What a blessed year.
ReplyDeleteGod's peace and blessings to you and your family in the coming new year as well Anne. ((hugs))
