Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow.

I am loving this snow. Loving, loving, loving it.

So are the kids.

Yesterday the Wee Guy came in for Breakfast (yes, you read that correctly: he came in for Brekkie); he came in for Lunch, and then came in for the day sometime in the late afternoon.

Until after Lunch, there was himself, his spade, his tractor and his imagination.

He did abandon his position for a short spell during this snow shower.

After lunch, Katie and Catherine went out with him and began their igloo.

Yesterday, was white, bright, cold and windless. Did you hear that? It was windless. It was the most wonderful winter's day.
This was the igloo this morning.

This morning was sunny, bright, beautiful, but not windless. We had winds of between 30 - 40 mph - not particularly strong, but it did make it feel
absolutely FREEZING.

Oh, hold on, it WAS freezing. You know what I mean, though.

The temperature was just below zero, but the windchill was -18C.

I nearly froze in the short time I was out taking photos. Clearly my kids are made of hardier stuff than I am.

These were his weapons for today. As always, he never puts down his weapons!

Oh, I take that back! Weapons gone....buckets being filled.

 All systems go.

The Wee Guy busy doing the chinking. An igloo has to be draught proof, you know.
