Busy, busy day in the plot today, but I think I'll leave that post for Monday.
We are only a couple of weeks away from the longest day and shortest night. That means that, as I write this at 9.30pm, it is broad daylight outside.
Here are some photos from last night's sunset.
This last photo was taken at midnight last night. See, we don't have a lot of light in mid-December; and we also don't have a lot of darkness at this time of year.
Hence no fireworks on the 4th of July.
We had no storms this week, but I am recommending this sermon for your weekend. Silencing the Storms of Life. Enjoy! And have a wonderful weekend!
Beautiful photos of the sunset. We get wake up call from the sun around 4:00. Not cool!
ReplyDeleteWow. I never thought about the fact that you all were so far up there that you got so much light during the summer. Beautiful pictures but wow I would find it hard to go to bed with no darkness. LOL
ReplyDeleteBeauuuuuutiful!
ReplyDeleteI was just thinking about you.....sending a ((hug)) to you on your splendid day!
Jeff always reminds me how far north you are...ah, but we are close via internet, right?
That is so amazing....like our Alaska! We enjoy quite the daylight change here....but not to that extent. We can do fireworks after 10pm on the 4th!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the sermon recommendation! I look forward to listening!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful sunset photos!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWow! Like Crystal said, I never realized that you were that far north! I think I could handle the summers on your island just fine, but the winters? Oh, dear. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your beautiful sunset photos!
Lovely sunset shots! Interesting about the light!
