It is very rarely I go to the cinema (ridiculous amount of money it costs to buy a ticket puts me off!) but I actually went twice to see this movie. I thought HBC as the Queen Mum was amazing. To be fair I then bought the book and obviously large chunks of history have been removed from the film but other than that it was quite true to the book I felt. Other than that this summer I have wished I was home in Uist more than normal just because you have posted so many gorgeous sunsets where here in grey Aberdeen we just don't get! So thank you for showing me a little bit of "home" even if we are from 2 entirely different islands! Hope the homeschooling goes well this year and I do laugh at your comments about your schedule I am exactly the same when it comes to my work! :)Aileenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09738212806385240069noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5439971908848990993.post-50683499170328659442011-08-18T15:38:52.812+01:002011-08-18T15:38:52.812+01:00I simply LOVE these porch chats! :) I really shoul...I simply LOVE these porch chats! :) I really should get into more of these types of things. We jsut had Pizza Hut take-away to cheer us up....it's a place where you get to have someone else make your Pizza, and then take it home...for a price....;-p Just in case you didn't know what it was....hair-colouring - VERY funny! Any pictures?? And, yes, we watched The Kings Speech - I din't like it...I really don't think the speech guy would have been that irreverent in his behaviour...I actually thought H B-C was okay as the Queen Mum...it took me until nearly the end of the film to realise who was playing the part of the wife of the speech guy - Lizzie and Mr Darcy reunited! ;-) lolCaroline Cordlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17238153508197295121noreply@blogger.com
