She loved the Lord with all her heart, and she lived it out. The lives she impacted were numerous, and the family heard over and over how they were transformed through meeting her, or being reached by her. What a sweet blessing to a grieving family.....and what a legacy to live up to. :)
Her location changed, but her company most certainly did not. :) Thanks for such a beautiful way of putting it.
~Heather @ The Welcoming House Blog
www.thewelcominghouse.blogspot.comHeather@TheWelcomingHouseBloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04237427166582006536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5439971908848990993.post-27425075464302813432012-10-18T09:59:34.732+01:002012-10-18T09:59:34.732+01:00So true-the Lord Jesus Himself wept at Lazarus'...So true-the Lord Jesus Himself wept at Lazarus' grave. My husband and I don't have Christian parents, so he was even more special to us for that. He was such a gracious, godly older man and has left a deep void in our lives. Tonight after prayer meeting his widow shared with us that just after her husband went to be Heaven, the Lord gave her the song, "All the Way My Savior Leads Me." She said she has sung it daily and it has ministered to her through sleepless nights and dark days.

Thank you for your blessed thoughts. They were balm to my grieving soul tonight. I will pray for this dear family whose hearts must ache in tune with mine.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5439971908848990993.post-21064823776560162292012-10-18T04:26:43.989+01:002012-10-18T04:26:43.989+01:00Oh, yes! Here are two things in particular that stand out to me: "his location changed but his company did not" - what a wonderful way of looking at the act of passing from this life to the next! And "grieving for a loved one is not the same as complaining at God's providence" - well said, Anne!Davene Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09036284894596672798noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5439971908848990993.post-87696227355444587172012-10-18T03:44:33.796+01:002012-10-18T03:44:33.796+01:00Thanks Anne.
